Raheem’s passion for engineering came about as a way to be constantly involved with music. Having played in bands since he was 15, his dedication to the art of engineering has been in the spirit of capturing the energy of the performance. After learning and experiencing how equipment effects the tones that are captured, he fine tuned his focus to also capturing the best and most appropriate tones for the music. Interning at Ledbelly studios and Doppler studios allowed Raheem to learn what it takes to be in the music industry. Working at Atlanta Pro Audio gave him the opportunity to experience working with lots of different equipment and to become a part of the Atlanta recording community. In 2007, he opened the first location for Orange Peel in Little 5 Points. Later, it was moved to Candler Park. Orange Peel Recordings is now located in Kennesaw in a custom built facility. He is currently working with a variety of music artists and projects as well as live sound engineering and studio tech. All of these experiences help to shape Raheem into becoming more effective at delivering what his clients want. The newest studio space allows our clients to experience a professional recording studio in a creative and comfortable environment.
